Sometimes when you are in the midst of a transformation, your relationships break. It’s often the case that you and your partner or friends are growing in diverging directions. I have been in several relationships where my growth was seen as a threat to my partner. They wanted me to just be the old me, but that was impossible, and so we would go our separate ways.
